Korakonui School - Small enough to care yet big enough to challenge and inspire

When a student becomes ill or is injured at school, and there is a need to send the student home, parents will be contacted to collect the student.  In such cases, parents are asked to report to the school office.

In the case of serious injury, arrangements will be made by the school to transport the student to their doctor or the local Medical Centre (by ambulance where it is deemed necessary).  Again, the parents will be informed and will met the student at school or the Medical Centre.

If parents cannot be contacted, the school will endeavour to make contact with the emergency contacts listed at time of enrolment.

It is important that the school has up-to-date emergency contact numbers.  Parents are requested to advise the school when phone numbers or emergency contacts are changed.
